I started in data science and advertising, then moved into product — where I get to turn analysis and ideas into things people actually use.

Since then I've managed product across robotics, real estate and AI-trading, and built and shipped my own AI-powered fintech product, DipFinding, end to end.

I'm based in Toronto, and I've worked across New York, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Shanghai and Amsterdam. I work bilingually in English and Chinese.

Approach

How I work

A few principles that hold across everything I build.

  1. Ship, then learn

    Get a real product in front of real users early. Shipping beats theorizing — and it's the only way to know what's true.

  2. Automate the busywork

    Anything repetitive should be a pipeline, not a person. I lean on automation so the team spends its time on judgment, not toil.

  3. Cross-functional by default

    Good product happens at the seams between engineering, data and the market. I work across all of them and keep them pointed the same way.

  4. Evidence over opinion

    I came up through analytics. Decisions get grounded in data and the actual problem — not the loudest opinion in the room.
